Best friends, John Smith and Devin Hardy, have been in the Electronic Music scene for quite some time. Before they had met they both attended their first EDM events in the early 2000s and their lives were drastically changed.
They both immediately began their journeys creating their solo identities in their hometown of San Luis Obispo. Their paths eventually crossed and they started spinning and producing nearly every day together. John and Dev had very successful solo careers under the personas John Smith and DevRun. They opened for some of the biggest names in the scene, such as LA Riots, PeaceTreaty, Dillon Francis, Kill The Noise, a tour with JFK of Mstrkrft, Killabits, Spencer & Hill, Wolfgang Gartner, and Porter Robinson just to name a few. But they were still hungry for more. They soon realized that combining their unique styles would make them a force to be reckoned with. This is when they decided to form Tastytreat, a crowd killing duo!
